When are fuel prices updated in South Africa?
The DMRE (Department of Mineral Resources and Energy) adjusts fuel prices on the first Wednesday of each month.
What is the difference between inland and coastal prices?
Inland prices (Gauteng, Limpopo, etc.) are slightly higher than coastal prices due to transport levies to get fuel to inland provinces.
Does the fuel price include all levies?
Yes. The pump price includes the General Fuel Levy (GFL), Road Accident Fund (RAF) levy, and applicable taxes.
